La Chingona Taqueria
La Chingona Taqueria just opened in West Seattle, and it’s already bringing all the vibes! It’s owned by Sandra, who’s super outgoing and passionate about sharing her Mexican roots. You’ll probably see her family around too. Her kids and husband all help out, making it feel homey. Steven, the bartender, is awesome. He’s super friendly, conversational and makes great drinks.
Sandra’s deep Mexican roots shine through every detail, from the fresh ingredients she brings in from her hometown to the bright, colorful artwork covering the walls. La Chingona Taqueria, full of life and character, offering fun and vibrant spaces. It’s fitting that the restaurants name translates to “bad ass woman”.
Friday through Sunday brunch is from 8am to 2pm with an options packed menu. Even a keto section. Definitely try the Chips and Guac, the Ranchero Omelette, or the Chicken Enchiladas Mole. The Fish Taco is a total must, and if you’re looking for something cozy, the Caldo De Res (Mexican beef soup) is perfect on a cold day. Oh, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth, the Hotcakes are loaded with sugary goodness.
Don’t sleep on their drink menu. The Mango Margarita is sweet and refreshing, while the Mezcalita has a smoky depth that’s perfect if you’re into bolder flavors. The Cucumber Margarita is crisp and refreshing. If you’re skipping alcohol, their Orange and Mango Juice is fresh and vibrant, and the Horchata is soooo good – sweet and creamy.
La Chingona Taqueria is a great spot to grab brunch or just hang out and enjoy some good food. They also have a food truck in Bellevue.
