OOLA is a unique Capitol Hill restaurant offering fine dining in an intimate setting with 11 seats at the bar and 22 on the floor. The interior is clean and well-lit. A nice playlist and candles add to the warm ambiance. The covered outdoor seating and tasting room for hosting small events or cocktail classes allow for plenty of options. You will find a selective menu from shared plates to desserts of high value. Each item made is thoughtful and carefully prepared by executive chef Elizabeth Blacker. Notable dishes include Hamachi Crudo, Roasted Carrots, Sonoma Duck, and Black Cod.

In the relaxing and conversational bar section, you’ll be able to see Beverage Director and Mixologist Devan Lenning display amazing craft creating the drinks. The cocktails are listed ranging from no alcohol (cappella), a little bit of alcohol (acoustic), to a normal amount of alcohol (electric). Also unique is the Bottle Shop offering OOLA Distillery products, and their Hot Buttered Mead is a must-try for chai lovers, it’s perfectly seasoned and great during cold weather.
